Buckle Up, my December 2008 Turquoise Birthstone for Torquere Press has gotten two very nice reviews.
One came in from Fallen Angel Reviews' April. You can find it here!
The other comes from Literary Nymphs' Rose Nymph! It's here!
Thanks ladies! I loved this story, as it just made me smile to write it. Check it out at Torquere, here!
Welcome to Julia Talbot's blog!
Welcome, everyone! Here's where I blather about writing, life with my wife BA, and my two basset hounds! I love to hear from readers, so comment here or email me!

Short List at the Gaylactic Spectrum
http://www.spectrumawards.org/2008.htm#bestshortshort
Check it out, y'all! I've been nominated many a time for things, but this is the first time I've short listed at a major award. The book is out of print now, actually. It was a Torquere Press Anthology edited by the talented Meredith Schwartz, called Alleys and Doorways. There's talk of Lethe Press re-releasing it in print, but so far I haven't seen a concrete deal.
If it falls through, I promise to post The Reflection of Love as a free read on my website. We'll have to wait and see!
In other news, I'll be at Romantic Times in April, doing booksignings on Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon with fellow authors Chris Owen, BA Tortuga, Tory Temple and Kiernan Kelly. It's in Orlando this year, so if you're in the neighborhood, you should drop in! More details as it gets closer!
